The Stand Steady X-Elite Premier Standing Desk Converter costs $239.99 and arrives fully assembled. It has a large work surface area of 39.25″ x 18″ and needs a footprint of 23.5″ x 16.25″. It has a height adjustment range of 2.25″-16.75″. It is made of particle board and steel.

To raise and lower the converter, you hold both sides and squeeze the handle on the right side. You then have to either pull up or push down since the pneumatic pump will not lift the converter on its own.

Two main issues are weight capacity and ergonomics. Its weight capacity is a minimal 20 lbs, meaning you can’t add much to the work surface. Ergonomically, it doesn’t have a keyboard tray, so it will be difficult to get your wrists and arms aligned in an ergonomically correct way.
