Ever since the pandemic merger and acquisition activity within the office furniture industry has reached a relative fever pitch, as the behemoth commercial office furniture companies look at offset deeply sagging revenues from commercial office tenants with e-commerce operations that can reach the burgeoning new work-from-home market. We’ve long tracked the M&A activity in our industry, which we define as “office fitness,” encompassing manufacturers and retailers of ergonomic and active workstations.
